Saturday Respite Program

Special Ministries Disability Outreach Saturday Program is a unique and exciting opportunity for youth with disabilities to participate in a program designed to facilitate an exciting environment which fosters recreation, education, and socialization.  Through the work of a highly trained staff and a partnership with the community, we believe that we can provide a high quality learning experience for the youth of the South Bay and surrounding area.

Ultimately, our goal it to encourage growth, expand horizons, and enrich life. We will provide a safe, fun and uplifting learning environment so everyone who is there knows that he/she is a valued individual.

We will encourage growth by providing varied activities at the learning center.  We will provide age appropriate activity centers for clients to participate in.  We want to continue to help them make progress with life and self-care skills.

We will expand horizons by experiencing new and exciting opportunities as involved community members.  Clients will have

the choice to go into the community to enjoy what the world has to offer and in return they can show their talents and abilities.

We will enrich life by fostering an environment where friendships flourish between all individuals.  In our setting no one is higher than anyone else.  All lives are appreciated and valued.  There will also be ample opportunities to enjoy and develop hobbies with one another.
